In November 1965, Jack Bruce briefly stood in for John McVie on bass in John Mayall´s Bluesbreakers, making a lasting impression on Eric Clapton. This line-up recorded a live album at the Flamingo, which was scrapped because the quality of the tape was poor. Here though is aural evidence of their early collaboration from a 1965 radio broadcast. Side One: Hideaway (King), Little Girl (Mayall), Side Two: Tears In My Eyes (Mayall), Parchman Farm (Allison).
